For Everything That's Good (print)

"For Everything That's Good"

This is a print of an original ink and watercolour painting for the cover of Travis Knapp's album, For Everything That's Good. Signed in pencil beneath the image.

Printed on 8.5 x 11 inch paper. Fits standard, ready-made frames.

Attentively proofed and printed by me with an Epson fine art printer on velvety Red River art papers, with hi-definition archival inks. Your print arrives elegantly packed in a plastic sleeve, tucked into a brown paper envelope tied with string and topped with a signature felt heart (which you can save to wear on your sleeve). Shipped flat in sturdy rigid mailers.

*My simple brown paper packaging is lovely enough for gift-giving. Personal note-writing available for direct shipping to your gift recipient. Please mention in the comments at check-out.*

More hunches, notions and ruminations:

{about the musician}

Travis Knapp is a musician and permaculturalist touring America with his bicycle and banjo. His first studio album is "unapologetically positive soul music with optimistic lyrics and a feel-good vibe that draws equally from folk, pop, and jazz...featuring Knapp's layered vocal, piano, guitar, hand percussion, and banjo performances."

This here banjo,
just like Pete's,
is a Machine that surrounds hate
and forces it to Surrender.

It does so with all of its tones,
from Calm and Forceful
to Wild and Tender.

Now is the time -
my Brothers, my Sisters, my Family -
Now is the time
to step into those shoes -
You know which ones -
and for everything that's good,
become a Defender.

Deliveries of hatred, greed, anger, or violence
will no longer be received.
They will, instead, be
Transformed, Discarded, and Marked,
'Return to Sender.'

This here banjo,
just like Pete Seeger's was
and is always gonna be,
is a Machine -
carefully and lovingly designed
to Surround hate and Allow it to Surrender.
